An update for Chalk Chain Lite (Free Version) has been submitted to Apple. Here’s the list of changes:

For players that had troubles with the “shake to pop” and “swipe head to pop” mechanisms, Chalk Chain now has the ability to do a multi touch gesture popping. Simply place two fingers on the screen and swipe slightly and your chain will pop. This should make controling the snake and redeeming your tail easier to do.
A new game mode has been added to Chalk Chain. This new mode is called “Limit Tail.” The premise is the same as the regular play except that your tail is limited to only 8 units. If you collect more than 8 objects, the object adjacent to your “head” will pop off and fly from your backside. It is a more challenging variant of the regular game as it will force you to keep popping to keep the level clear.
